Well, Age Of Empire offers one to play with a population limit of maximum of 200. But the title of the post says that you can play with 1000 population in Age Of Empires. You just have to replace one file for that.
Today I am going to reveal the secret of "How to play with 1000 population in Age Of Empires". First of all download the file by clicking here.
This is a zipped file which contains two files-version 2.1 and version 2.2. You need to rename the file as empires2_x1_p1.dat and replace the file in the data folder. If there is no existing file in data folder by this name, then rename the file as empires2_x1.dat. This will surely be present in the data folder of Age of Empires.
Do not forget to make a backup of the original file in case you have some problem so you can replace with original file, else you will have to reinstall.
After replacing the file, try to launch Age of Empires and enjoy the fun of playing 1000 population game.
One more thing that this file would give is that monks can walk on water surface no matter he is holding a relic or not.
