Age of Empires is one of the best real time strategy game develped ever. It is also one of the ealriest RTS game to be developed after Civilization, another best real time strategy game. The game was developed by Ensemble and was published by Microsoft Game Studios. I have played Age of Empires full version thousands of time and I just can't tell you what a fun this game gives to me. As of now I have played all the three games of the series viz. Age of Empires, Age of Empires 2, Age of Empires 3 and also Age of Myhtoligies. Games that came after the first game of the series are also as good as Age of Empires is. Games released after this game in the series have edge over AOE in terms of graphics and artificial intelligence.
Artficial Intelligence in Age of Empires is not poor even if compared to games released afterwards. Only graphics makes a distinction. When I started playing game five years ago, I immediately concluded that this is the game I was longly waiting for. Age of Empires full version offered me immense pleasure by completely dissolving into the ancient history. The game is spanned to the 10,000 years of history with 12 ancient civilizations to play with. There are five campaigns to play in Age of Empires and the game offers you four different ages to walk through. All these are lovely campaigns that let you know how to formulate a strategy even if you are in serious problem. As a whole playing Age of Empires full version was a good experienc for me.
