How to Record Games:

You can record your games played in the LAN or Internet. To do this the server who has started the game either in LAN or Internet must put the option record game. Then all the clients will get the recorded game in their SaveGame folder of AOE installation folder. You can record your own video of AOC 1 on 7 and put the recorded game in some file hosting websites and post the link on some website or blog. Since you also puts villager 20 and 21 on gold, your enemy might also think that your gonna m@a rush him. And play defensive. Then "boom" you hit castle and got a big advantage.

When you hit feudal, you make a stable with two lumber guys and a blacksmith with another one of em. On the same time que two villagers at the town center (They will mine gold). When the villagers is produced press castle.
On the way to castle, put one more villager on gold (Make a house with him on the way). Get lumber upgrade. Put all deer/sheep eaters on the berries. Make farms with em when you can afford it. Get armor upgrade for your knight. When you reach castle. Make knigths and villagers. Make a another town center as fast as you can afford it. Keep pumping knights and villagers.

The AI folder in Age of Empires is the thing that controls the Artificial Intelligence of the computer players in single player games. This will change the way computer plays the game. The computer gameplay by default is very passive and not at all advisable to play for better improvement in the game. This is because the computer wont play very aggressively but it plays collectively.

If you want to play a challenging game with the computer then you must install these AI files in your AOE installation so that the computer plays according to this AI instead of the default AI. The Mayans, Zycat and Atilla these are three different parts.

How to install:

For installation of these AI you need to put the *.per and *.ai files in the AI folder of the Age of Empires installtion folder.

You can get the files from heavengames.com. You extract the files in the package and put the respective files and folders in the AI folder.

Only in the Single Player:

These AI can be used only in the case of the single player games and it is not possible give this Ai for computer players for multiplayer games.

Well, Age Of Empire offers one to play with a population limit of maximum of 200. But the title of the post says that you can play with 1000 population in Age Of Empires. You just have to replace one file for that.

This is a zipped file which contains two files-version 2.1 and version 2.2. You need to rename the file as empires2_x1_p1.dat and replace the file in the data folder. The game is spanned to the 10,000 years of history with 12 ancient civilizations to play with. There are five campaigns to play in Age of Empires and the game offers you four different ages to walk through. All these are lovely campaigns that let you know how to formulate a strategy even if you are in serious problem. As a whole playing Age of Empires full version was a good experienc for me.

There are mainly three types of civlisations in Age of empires. These are infantry civilisations, Cavalry Civilisations and Archer civilisations. Age of Empires is so build that no civilisation is best in this game. It depends on what the opposition's civilisation is. For example Saracens are good against cavalry so if the opposition is huns, then Saracens have a great advantage against them. But Saracens are weak against archers, so is weak against archer civilisations such as britons, mayans and chinese. If it comes to infantry civilisation, they are generally weak against archers, so better keep some onagers with infantry. But if you are goths, they are the best civilisation against archers. But if you are goths they are weak against other infantry civilisations like Aztecs and Japanese. Generally people thinks that Koreans is the best civilisation, but let me tell you that they are very weak against Gothic unit- Huskarl and eagle warriors. But what if you are neither goths nor Aztecs, do not worry, just make Siege Onagers against War Wagons and you will get an easy success against War Wagons.
Some people think that Tuetons is the best one, as it is very very strong against infantry. A unique fact is that after full upgrades, 5 Elite Tuetonic knights are enought for 50 Helberdiers. So you can calculate its power against infantry, but again they are weak against archers.
Some think that Byzantines are the best, but they are weak against archers so any archer civilisation can beat them.
So we come to a conclusion that No civilisation is best on its own, it depends on what the opposition's civilisation is.
As far as I am concerned, I take koreans if there is no goths in opposition or byzantines or goths. This is because these are the three Best Civilisations that I think we have in Age of Empires.
